LED LIGHT THERAPY

I like to support explaining skin care with a little science backing.  Our skin, our largest healing organ, is able to absorb light and convert it to energy, which is great for regenerating cells and cellular repair. It is different than UVB rays that can be damaging to the skin.  LED light therapy delivers the advantages of light absorption without the UV damaging rays.  LED light therapy triggers cellular activity to allow the skin to heal and rejuvenate.

LED light therapy does not cause any pain, and involves zero downtime.  It’s great for anyone who wants to improve the appearance of their skin.   It’s safe for all skin types and color shades on the Fitzpatrick Scale. LED light therapy does not heat up the skin and therefore has no risk of burns or thermal damage.

What to expect during your LED Light Therapy Treatment

Upon arrival we will have a discussion about what is going on with your skin and review your goals.  We will do a cleanse, take a closer look at your skin, apply a nurturing topical serum and then begin the treatment.  The light treatment itself takes 30 minutes.  During that time you can relax and enjoy stillness.  You will also get a nurturing topical treatment to absorb
